"What Has God Saved You For?" Sunday sermon

Feb 8, 2026    Pastor Jim Riley

Salvation is more than forgiveness—it’s transformation with purpose. In Ephesians 2:1–10, we’re reminded that we were once dead in sin, but by God’s grace we’ve been made alive in Christ. We are not saved by good works—but we are saved for good works.

This message explores what it truly means to be saved, what God has rescued us from, and—just as importantly—what He has rescued us for. As God’s workmanship, His masterpiece, we are invited to walk in the purpose He prepared for us long before we knew Him. Through Scripture, prayer, and honest reflection, this sermon challenges us to move beyond excuses, listen for God’s direction, and allow salvation to produce visible fruit in our lives.

If you’ve ever wondered how your faith connects to daily life, calling, and obedience—this message brings clarity and direction.
