Pastors & Staff

KAMRON OBERLIn

Lead Pastor

Pastor Kamron and Shanon took the lead pastor position at Greater Lansing First in early 2022. They both grew up in the Lansing area and are excited for God to call them "home" to share the Good News. Pastor Kamron and Shanon have four children, two grown and married, twin eleven year old's they adopted through foster care, and two grandchildren!

AJ GAMBOA

Youth Pastor

Pastor AJ, Courtney, and their two beautiful kids have been serving the Lord for more than 16 years. They love to hang out with students and build Christ-like relationships with them. They are huge fans of playing board games, card games, watching movies, and FOOD! They are excited to build life with the students and bring them closer to God.

Meranda Mann

Children's Pastor

Pastor Meranda has been loving and leading in ministry for over a decade—and she’s still just getting started! Her journey began as a student at a summer camp, where she felt God call her to serve the next generation. Since then, she’s been all-in on helping kids discover how much Jesus loves them and how to build a faith that lasts.
Whether she’s telling a Bible story, planning a fun event, or jumping into a game with the kids, Pastor Meranda brings joy, energy, and a whole lot of heart. When she’s not at church, you’ll probably find her reading a new book, playing card games or soaking up the outdoors—camping, playing softball, or hitting the volleyball court are some of her favorites.

JOY & KEith currie

Kids Church Leaders

Joy and Keith have been serving together in children’s ministry for 15 years. They believe that children are not the church of tomorrow; children are the church today. Their vision is to see children who are actively serving and changing their world through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Wakka leatigaga

Worship Leader

Born from a Samoan descent, raised by a strong Christ-loving mother to love him more, and to live for Him. To worship God in the form of music has been what I was nurtured in from a home that was Christ-Centered, to experiencing God in the ministry fields, and to being equipped and trained for ministries in Seminaries. It's a privilege to be a living instrument for His Kingdom.
